Church was good today, yea!

Today we heard from:

MARK 8:34
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
35. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.
36. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?

It reminded me of the scripture prayer I use to pray:

Proverbs 30:7
7. "Two things I ask of you, O LORD; do not refuse me before I die:
8. Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.
9. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, `Who is the LORD?' Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.
