Isn't that nice that God even cares about the little things, like fingers.
A similar thing:
A couple of months ago, My girls were playing in their room. The old wooden sliding window was propped open with a stick. the little one some how knocked the stick out and the heavy old window came done on her hand. I was in the other room, and heard a blood curdling cry. I ran in and her hand had a deep impression of the corner edge of the window, and in 2 minutes her hand swelled up to half again. We prayed, big and loud, got dressed and jumped into my truck and into town to the hospital. I prayed all of the way in that "Lord, have it so there is no broken bones".
Sure enough they gave her some tylenol for the pain, at first I said no as she seemed OK, but they said she was just in shock, and shacking my head, said of course. Then we x-rayed her hand and it was OK, no broken bones.
The next morning not even a mark on her hand, Thank you Jesus.
